Videos uploaded to sites such as Google Video and YouTube have been more than just for watching online. They are used as supporting references to blog posts on specific topics of concern. Hyperlinks of citations from sites relevant to the post will still be used, but thanks to technology, there are people who have properly made videos that are more than just entertaining. They contain concepts and terminologies explained better to broaden the understanding of readers anywhere.

A lot of these embedded videos have been widely used on community networking sites such as Friendster and MySpace but some are used in business and technology blogs as well. Some are downloaded in 3gp format which can also be seen in mobile phones. Google video offers a lot of videos which even students can use in their subject matter in school such as reports. Such technology has helped them understand and innovate the way education is concerned.
