iTunes sells their one billionth song

Written by Nick on February 23, 2006

Apple’s iTunes store have sold their one billionth song, ending their huge campaign. The person who purchased the billionth song received a 20 inch mac, 10 60gig ipods and a US$10,000 itunes music card. Whoever downloaded every 100,000th song received a 4 gig nano and $100 music card.

And this would end all of the hype around this. It won’t take long till they hit 1.5 billion. I wonder if they will get to 1 trillion. Link
