Being Original With Downloadable Freeware Tools

Written by Nick on January 30, 2007

While files are spread over the web for use, there are also a number of applications that allow a person to create his own logo, ring tone and graphical displays without worrying about copyrights. This method preaches the concept of being original in any aspect, owning the rights for creations that no other person would be able to possess unless they would get it from the person who actually created them.

Original Creations Through Free Download Apps

Such has become another level of downloading, focusing on free downloadable software for personal use. Freeware applications would usually be up for criticism because of their lack of features and outputs, but the overall concern is really about avoiding legal issues from copyrighted creations over the Internet.

Freeware entices people to be creative in their own right. Sometimes, these are the sources of files that are found on the web. In this aspect, it has become more of using the freeware applications to a more productive use. Most people would be surprised if they were able to converse with the actual creators of such files that are downloaded on the web for a fee. For sure, some of them were created with downloadable freeware applications.

Polyphonic Tones Are Still Ring Tone Alternatives

Written by Nick on January 28, 2007

Mobile phones in use today would still go for the lively tunes in the WAV format. But this would largely depend on the phone capabilities, on whether it can support the said format or not. Most phones, especially the first ones introduced in the market but are yet being used today cannot support such advanced forms of ring tones, thus the need to resort to the reliable polyphonic tones which they were originally designed to support.

Polyphonic Ringtones

There are a lot of sites that cater towards properly downloading polyphonic tones. These are usually found side by side with that of the highly demanded WAV or AMR tone formats today. The safest way to download them would be through WAP sites affiliated with mobile network subscribers. But over the web, unless otherwise distributed in another manner such as file transfer or peer to peer transfers, downloading them from sites which store them would really be hard to find.

Polyphonic or Wav Tones for Mobile Phones

Written by Nick on January 24, 2007

The desire of most people to have the latest ring tones based on current movies and latest tunes that people would use as their message alert tones or ring tones has been one of the demanded queries over the web as of late. Latest hit singles or movie themes are the typical ring tones that anyone would love to have or use as their alert tone today. Searching for them over the web may be easy, but to actually acquire them is another thing.

Mobile Ringtones Today

Usually, these are offered to be downloaded and used legally through mother sites of telecom providers. Finding them over the web can either return a low quality or on a need to pay basis before they can be used in the mobile phones of today. While there are copyrights for the distribution of such files, only the actual producers have the full rights to making them available for people to use.

But then again, controlling them and stopping people from using them is another issue that copyright laws have evidently failed to contain as with other hit tunes and ring tones demanded today.

Copyright Violations for Music Downloads

Written by Nick on January 22, 2007

Downloading Legally

Music and tunes are perhaps the most common files that would get the attention of being downloaded illegally to date. Copyrights of music coming from large recording companies and artists have obviously been violated by sharing files or having them burned to extra copies so that people do not have to go through the trouble of buying the actual album in music shops.

However, distinguishing and categorizing such issues has been something that has lacked the necessary declaration of when they are illegal and how they are considered illegal. People will just download anything they can find on the web.

Perhaps one thing that could help in putting a borderline would be to call the attention of people who are actually offering such files for download. On the other hand, a strict law outside that of such organizations as RIAA, must lay down the ground rules to have people more conscious of these illegalities. Lack of educational knowledge will render the whole endeavor useless and even if lawsuits would be files, there will be varying opinions due to lack of familiarization with such laws.

Downloading to Pay for The Complete Package

Written by Nick on January 20, 2007

Most software development companies would offer trial programs for a limited time. These are commonly known as shareware or freeware. However, in these downloads, not all options are active. These are usually enabled once a person is interested in them or would pay to use them.

There are also cases where downloaded programs are not the software itself. A person would be either sent via shipment the actual software or given a link to which they can download the full working copy.

The cost of owning full software rights would depend on the intent and means for utilization of the program. Sophisticated programs would usually cost more than small ones since their level of programming and benefits are far more in demand. Complications with regards to the level of programming will always have a say on the commanded price to own such.

There is nothing to be debated about since people who download them are aware of the use of such developed software programs for business and personal use.

A Web Full of Possibilities

Written by Nick on January 18, 2007

People exposed to the web have an inkling of an idea as to the benefits, secrets and things to be avoided. Among the bare necessities would be to determine what files, the necessary software and what websites to avoid, especially if they pose a threat towards any workstations.

It is no secret that the web offers people a lot of things, including applications and files that are essential to work and education. While some can be specific and to the point, caution with regards to reliance on them must be exercised at all times. For one thing, these sites that offer the answer to the needs of any visitor may carry with it potential threats that can become more of a problem rather than a solution.

Cracked or hacked software are too good to be true. In most cases, they should be put under suspicion and this is only normal. Nothing in the world is free and if the computer is not the first victim of it all, the user may eventually become the target, not just Internet issues but legal issues as well.

Are BitTorrents Illegal Files on the Web?

Written by Nick on January 16, 2007

BitTorrents, a new way of being able to download large files such as movies, music and applications have been put on the spot recently, something that is caught in between the active fight against piracy and copyright policies in the world today.

BitTorrent Downloading

Free peer to peer file distribution protocol software available over the web created by Bram Cohen, BitTorrents are now being classified on whether they are illegal or not. For what its worth, sharing files over the web in the same manner which Malware risk software such as Bearshare and Limewire, BitTorrent is acclaimed to be a lot safer since transferred files can be scanned and previewed prior to actual completion.

BitTorrent Downloads

A large chunk of files that are being downloaded in this manner include cam shots and actual DVD quality files over the web. People can practically leave their computer on and proceed with what they are doing while downloads are in progress. The speed of such downloads would depend on the number of sharing peers present and of course the speed or bandwidth to which the transfer rate depends largely.

Mobile Phones Increase the Demand for Quality Downloads

Written by Nick on January 14, 2007

Mobile Phone Downloadables

People who frequent the web to look for quality download files in the form of MP3’s, picture images, videos and applications, would usually need them for their portable media devices such as their mobile phones or PDA’s. Such devices have become more of just being used for calls or scheduling appointments. They have become devices to hold entertainment software when people are found to be in the doldrums of boredom.

It is true that downloading such files legally has become a hard track to follow. However, for the people who are law abiding, shedding of minimal amounts in exchange for quality files are better than being tagged as a pirate or worst, being charged with piracy or copyright violations.

While these cannot be avoided, people simply want to get the best deal possible. Freebies are the best ones and music to their ears. However, it is just a matter of finding them patiently. They are all over the Internet and all it needs is a simple search query or referral from their friends and peers.

Downloading Videos for iPods

Written by Nick on January 12, 2007

Searching for legal downloads in the form of videos for use on iPods is perhaps one of the more common demands on the web today. Archived videos, depending on the genre of the iPod user are available over the web.

Video downloads

Piracy has been a common word for people who want to be the first to possess the latest videos over the web. Resorting to searching for these videos through torrents or peer to peer sharing software, classification of these as an illegal means of distribution is hard to point out considering they are not actually being sold but shared.

Technically, sharing is not near being considered piracy although such cases are being investigated as of to date. Nevertheless, there are a lot of videos that can be taken from the web. But unfortunately, people’s interests are far higher than the normal downloads available today, especially for quality videos for their latest gadgets and personal viewing.
